Nature's Link

Appearances are deceptive? Not really...Nature has given us a clue about how its creation is useful to us.  The clue is hidden in its shape.
Take a cross-section of a tomato - its chambers have a resemblance to the chambers of heart.
The lycopene in tomato is said to reduce risk of heart disease.

The truncated folds of walnut - can well serve as a model of brain.
Omega-3 fatty acids found in abundance in walnuts help in preventing dementia and ageing process and also believed to break down the plaque formation in Alzheimer's disease.  No wonder they are called as 'brain food'

Grape bunches - remind of the branched alveoli that connect the lobes
A diet that includes grapes strengthens immunity and reduces the risk of allergy-induced asthma as well as the lung condition emphysema.

Ginger root - resembles the anatomy of stomach.
Traditionally, ginger is known to aid in digestion and considered as a cure for nausea.

And many many can be linked to nature...aren't they nature's very own link to good health?
